Why hydrogen peroxide and baking soda?
Baking soda is a mild alkali and is abrasive in nature, hence it lifts up the dirt and made it easy to clean. It not only removes dirt but also neutralizes the odors. It absorbs all the moisture and sweat from your mattress. It helps in restoring and maintaining the pH balance of your mattress. And above all, it is non-toxic in nature and hence safe for your family.Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful disinfectant and unlike others, it has no harmful effects.
I hope I had well equipped you with the process of cleaning a mattress.
TIPS BY MY SIDE:
- Give a sunbath to your mattress for a natural cleanser.
- Shift and prepare your bed somewhere else in your home. This is advantageous in two ways-
- It gives mattress enough stand-alone time to disinfect itself.
- You can plan a special night for your family to spice up their daily routine. Put a camp at a garden or terrace and arrange good food with some lights. This will bring more love and fun to your family.
